Most weeks we have a speaker at our breakfast meetings. Here, Beach resident Peter Willson (in the red t-shirt) gives us the fascinating background on newsstand jockeying and what topics/photos make the best covers for Hello! Canada Magazine.

The Rotary Club of Toronto Beach was officially chartered by Rotary International in July, 1999, becoming the latest in a long lineage of Toronto clubs. Rotary has been involved in Toronto since the early days of the 20th Century.

We meet Tuesday mornings at the Balmy Beach Club, located on the lake at the foot of Beech Ave. Meeting time is 7.15 AM for a Continental Breakfast followed by announcements and discussion of Club business. For most meetings we invite a Speaker to address and educate the Club on a wide range of important and lively issues that include community and business concerns, upcoming cultural activities, neighbourhood resources, and global challenges.

Each year we plan a series of fundraisers that have become exciting and anticipated events. Our popular annual Bowl for the Beach Bowlathon raises $30,000 and continues to grow, the Landmines Dinner provides an evening to remember our soldiers and raise money for landmine removal, Mother's Day Tea at the Gardener's Cottage is a special day to enjoy our families and give to a well loved local charity. And there's more. Please click here to see photos and stories of all our Recent Events.

Due to the generous help and donations that come from our Beach community businesses and neighbours, we are able to donate funds to many worthwhile local and global charities that look to us for support. Please click here for Charities We Support.

We are a dynamic group of men and women, which enjoys working and playing together in the spirit of Rotary.

Anyone interested in joining the Club should contact President Club President Ron Luciano
